The Knee is a complex joint. There are many types of knee injuries that can occur in sports.
Football and other sports place a large amount of impact on your knees. ACL knee braces are essential because playing football puts your ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) at risk for injury.
There are also braces that are designed for athletes that are recovering from serious ligament (ACL, MCL) injuries or from surgery. These braces are designed to be anatomically correct for each leg and fit appropriately to stabilize specific ligaments. We have an extensive line of knee braces that are individually tailored to relieve stress on the ACL, MCL, PCS for both rehabilitation and athletic performance or individual knee pain. Post operative knee braces are most commonly used following reconstruction of the knee surgeries. A post operative knee brace provides controlled range motion varying from 15 degrees to 120 degrees (flexion/extension). These braces can be fixed at a degree level (restricting further motion) in accordance with a physician or physical therapists order.
Osteoarthritis knee braces are most commonly used as a non operative for older patient’s suffering from severe osteoarthritis. This is a compartmental brace that offloads the part of the knee causing severe pain from inflammation.
